Before being introduced to our great game of disc golf, I pitched on a few youth baseball teams. Throwing a disc felt like a similarly thrilling experience and I was hooked immediately. The fact that you can play it without assembling a team gives it mass appeal and allows for many more actual disc golfing opportunities. As a baseball fan, I meticulously collected the cards made by Topps, Donruss, Upper Deck and other companies. Those iconic layouts are etched into the minds of baseball fans around the world and in 2013, USA Disc Golf released a promotional run of just a handful of customized cards featuring disc golfers from the Kingman Disc Golf Society.
USA Disc Golf has announced that in 2015, more cards like these will be created featuring more vintage card layouts as well as actual disc golf pros! In anticipation of the spring release of some of these nifty cards, we are reposting the originals from 2 1/2 years ago in chronological order starting with....
